|Calculation Notes |
To determine rate per 1,000 students, divide the total number of offenses by the total enrollment of students. Multiply by 1,000.
High school students who begin their substance involvement at an early age and use substances frequently are more likely than other students to continue to face disciplinary offenses and or suspension or expulsion.
Statistics are based on uniform definition applied to all high schools in the state and, therefore, have comparative values.
