New Haven Health Equity Alliance
The New Haven Health Department, with the help of our many community partners, has been selected to serve as a pilot site for the Health Equity Alliance, a project of the Connecticut Association of Directors of Health (CADH). The CADH project's website is available at http://www.healthequityalliance.us/.
The goal of the Health Equity Alliance (HEA) is to create the conditions necessary for people to be healthy rather than treating them after they have already become sick. This will require dramatic change in New Haven – focusing the city’s policy reforms and investments towards prevention while working to eliminate health disparities.
