New Haven Community Management Teams
Welcome to the home of the New Haven Community Management Teams. This page, in development, will serve as a resource for information about these neighborhood organizations.
About the Management Teams
Community Management Teams (CMT) are organized in each of New Haven's ten community policing districts. A CMT consists of residents and businesses within the district who have organized to serve as forum for problem solving and information exchange centering around neighborhood issues that are of the most concern to the group. Community Management Teams help residents have a voice in neighborhood improvement and revitalization efforts and are an important link to the police and to other city and social service agencies.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone with an interest in the safety and quality of life in their Community Policing District should attend -- Block Watch members, residents, business owners, agency representatives, local government and community leaders. If you know of anyone in the area who might be interested in attending these meetings please feel free to share this invitation. This is an opportunity for you to have a voice and to help set the agenda for the future.
