Local and Regional Efforts: Greater New Haven

1. New Haven Early Childhood Council: The NHECC brings together community members who seek to improve the lives of young children and their families in New Haven. Their mission is to ensure that all children come to kindergarten with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.

2. School Reform in the City of New Haven: Major school change effort taking place in New Haven, seeking to improve student outcomes and community support.

3. Dwight Edgewood West River Promise Neighborhood Collaborative: Active initiative to implement a "Promise Neighborhood" / Harlem Children Zone model within New Haven.
