  • Urban Apartheid: 2013 Greater New Haven NAACP Report

    The NAACP Greater New Haven Branch of the NAACP created the Urban Apartheid report, involving DataHaven to work with NAACP staff and board members and contribute the research material used throughout. DataHaven also received a separate contract from the Annie E. Casey Foundation to support its work on the development of this 25-page report. The report includes data from the 2012 DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey.

  • 2012 Greater Norwalk Area Community Health Assessment and Improvement Initiative

    The Greater Norwalk Area collaborative of Norwalk Hospital and Norwalk Health Department led a community health planning process to improve the health of residents in the Greater Norwalk Area. The health departments of New Canaan, Westport, Weston, Wilton, Darien, and Fairfield were also involved in this regional effort.

  • 2012 Report: Community Health Needs Assessment

    Lawrence + Memorial Hospital executed a summary of trends and comparisons highlighted in their primary service area by the various regional and county assessments that have been conducted over the last five years. The assessment drew from secondary data, the United Way's Community Needs Assessments, hospital discharge data, and interviews.

    The Downtown Crossing Project aims to redevelop the the area around Route 34 East to redevlop the highway into city streets. This report analyzes the health impact of the project by assessing the community need for more walkable and bikeable streets.
