  • 2012 Community Needs Assessment: A Focus Group Report for the Communities of Meriden and Wallingford

    The purpose of the 2012 Community Needs Assessment was to explore the needs of residents living in Meriden and Wallingford to address the needs that were identified and determine the best use of MidState and the United Way's resources. After analyzing the data gathered in the focus groups, a number of issues arose, including those related to: mental health services and health care issues, basic needs, housing, and transportation.

  • Healthy Hartford: A Community Health Needs Assessment

  • Qualitative Research: Community Health Care Needs Assessment

    Using a qualitative research design, the Center for Research & Public Policy conducted seven focus group sessions, which took place at the Access Agency in Willimantic, United Services in Dayville and Day Kimball’s Plainfield Healthcare in Plainfield. The core composition of each group includes: First Responders, Latinos, Community Leaders, School Based Health, Boomers, Faith Based and Youth.
