With support from public and private partners, DataHaven has maintained neighborhood and community profiles and maps for over 20 years. We have updated these with the latest census and other datasets, and with the most current data visualization technology that is responsive to viewing on various devices.

Connecticut City Neighborhood Profiles
With support from public and private partners, DataHaven has maintained neighborhood profiles and maps for over 15 years. We have updated these with the latest census data, and with new sources of public health data (USALEEP and 500 Cities). Unlike many other online maps, the data visualization technology we use is highly responsive across various mobile devices.

This is a CSV (raw data) file with the state, county, and town-level data used in our community profile pages, updated with 2018 5-year ACS data (released by Census Bureau in December 2019). For Connecticut counties and select Connecticut towns, the dataset also contains a small number of estimates from the 2018 DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey. Please refer to the survey page for full crosstabs and results.

In early January, members of newly inaugurated Mayor Justin Elicker’s transition team released a 56-page report of recommendations for the mayor’s first 100 days in office. The transition team’s report touched on 10 “areas of concentration,” including the long-standing issue of access to safe and affordable housing in the city.
