2023 document notes, clarifications, and errata

  1. In the 2023 report’s Education and Youth chapter, suspension rates are described as suspensions per 1,000 students. To clarify, this indicator is actually based on the number of students suspended at least once per 1,000 students. If a student has more than one suspension in a year, they only count towards this rate once.

These crosstabs contain data collected through the 2018 DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey’s live, in-depth interviews with 16,043 individuals statewide including 4,680 across all of the towns throughout Fairfield County, CT. These crosstabs focus on results from one geographic area; results for other areas are available via the main survey page. The survey assessed topics such as health, employment, and neighborhood resources. Respondents spanned a broad range of ages, ethnicities, and socioeconomic statuses from every Connecticut zip code, and all results are based on weighting survey data to be representative of the entire adult population (see methodology).

This crosstab of results from the 2015 DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey contains weighted estimates for Fairfield County, disaggregated by demographic group. The survey conducted in-depth interviews with 16,219 randomly-selected adults living in every town and city throughout Connecticut, including nearly 5,000 living in Fairfield County.
