This report came out of the idea that long-term care is an important part of the health care system because it will affect nearly everyone at some point in their lives — whether it is because we need services and support ourselves, or we are providing care for someone in need. Blum Shapiro, a firm hired by CRI, conducted the required research and analyzed long-term care providers, recipients, and payers in Connecticut.
