The Greater Waterbury Health Improvement Partnership led a comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to evaluate the health needs of individuals living in and around Waterbury, Connecticut beginning in 2012. The partnership consisted of Saint Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury Hospital, Waterbury Department of Public Health, the City of Waterbury, the StayWell Health Center, the Connecticut Community Foundation, the United Way, and other community partners. The purpose of the assessment was to gather information about local health needs and health behaviors.
